Location

Inverbervie is situated on the east coast of Scotland between the cities of Aberdeen in the north and Dundee in the south. It is ideally situated for touring the area and even Glasgow and Edinburgh are only a couple of hours away.

The Area

Within easy reach of Aberdeen, Dundee, Royal Deeside including Banchory and Balmoral/Glamis Castles and many other interesting places to visit.

The Royal Burgh

The Royal Burgh of Inverbervie is fairly small but offers several pubs/restaurants, a bakers, a fairly large Co-op, paper shop and even a good chinese take away.

Stonehaven

Spectacular view of nearby Stonehaven with it’s picturesque harbour bordered by some nice pubs and restaurants.

Dunnotar Castle

Just before arriving in Stonehaven,  Dunnotar Castle is definitely worth a visit. Once the hiding place for the Scottish Crown Jewels and, more recently, the setting for Mel Gibson’s Hamlet.

Coastal Pathway

Try a walk along the coastal pathway (the site of the old, pre Beeching, Bervie to Montrose railway). The picturesque former fishing village of Gourdon is just 1 mile away, with a great bar and a fish restaurant both with harbour views.
